Hydroyal was started by KTH researchers to develop electrochemical components for hydrogen production. Based on many years of research at KTH, Hydroyal has developed a new manufacturing method for membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) – a key component in electrolysers for hydrogen production. Today, it is a challenge to manufacture MEA cost-effectively and on a large scale. Hydroyal enables such large-scale efficient manufacturing and their MEA consists of cheap and readily available materials. Hydroyal’s MEA also improves the efficiency of electrolysers with high hydrogen purity and less corrosive conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n
