Cell2Bio AB is based on multi-year KTH research and a serendipity innovation. KTH researchers observed that cell growth into 3D spheroids occured on a cellulose-based material. This is the foundation of Cell2Bio focus on developing products for cell culture . The platform enables cells to grow in a three-dimensional environment allowing cells to form 3D spheroids even from very low concentrations. The platform can be used in multiple applications such as drug discovery, regenerative medicine and cancer research.
